I had the pleasure of working for Brett. In the time that I reported to him he taught me many new skills about human resources and how to implement tracking programs which allowed me to succeed in my position. He was always willing to take time out of his day to help me develop my skill set. He takes a genuine interest not only in his direct staff but also in all the employees in the business and maintained an open door policy for anyone who needed to talk with him.
Brett always takes employee confidentiality very seriously and uses a filing system in order to guarantee that information is never shared with those who do not need to have access to it. He does this by using a color coded system that is very easy and self-explanatory once implanted and is something that I think many companies could benefit from.
He is always looking for ways to stream line process and improve the employee experience. While working together, he demonstrated a natural ability to address issues as soon as they presented themselves and became a trusted advisor for myself and coworkers. He is not easily excited which lead to a very calm atmosphere even under the most stressful situations. He takes his job seriously and never took decision making lightly no matter how small the issue seemed.

I had the opportunity to work closely with Brett during a transitional period at a large facilities account in my role as Finance Manager at ARAMARK Education. Brett’s expertise in Human Resource Management was evident from the first day he came to the account. Brett was tasked with assisting in a conversion of over 300 hourly employees and in the talent assessment and reorganization of the management team at the account.
